The West Mojave Conservation Bank was approved in 2017 by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. The WMCB offers credits for the desert (Agassiz's) tortoise, Mohave ground squirrel, and streambeds (2081). Other resources present include Joshua trees, desert wash, creosote bush scrub, burrowing owl, and Mojave fish-hook cactus.
